Wiki Group Discussion

This is the best week, i have in EIR class.

In class we have a group discussion about Google Being Investigated. Different group has different content about Google Being Investigated. My Group has "What is the opinion of our Group about Google being Investigated?" and "What are the opinion of the other groups about Google being investigated".

In this discussion, I contribute a video how Google get the resources from. It's a cute video how Google get their information.

Then when we have to know whats the other group opinions, is the funny part. In my group there is 6people, and there is 5 groups to interview. So one member 1 follow the leader to interview a group 1, then member 2 follow leader to interview group 2 n so on. hehe..

TWITTER / BLOG? hmm

Hello2, i'm back. Updating my blog, for my eir subject. Now u can say my blog is up to date. :)
Today topic is about Twitter & Blog.

I heard people talking bout blogs n twitter, asking me to sign up n all but i'm not interested coz i dont like to be stuck on the computer with words. LOL! Then when i take EIR as my subject. They ask me to make blog n twitter account on the 1st lesson(ice breaker). I was like OMG! I was force to do these account.hehe..
To me blogging & tweet is a way of expressing your feeling on the internet. But there is a difference in how u wanna express it. Just like talking. some people like to talk without details. some people like to talk with full details.

After a while i was hook by twitter coz the way of expressing ur feelings its kinda interesting. Since i'm not interested in writing long phase of words. I like using twitter as expressing my feeling in a short sweet way. Tweeting my emotion at the moment is fun. While blogging, it's about how you express your feeling like a story book. Story books with out pictures are boring, so blogs with pictures is interesting. Its a PLUS for blog rather then book coz, blog able to upload video to watch while books is static. Tats is y when i blog, i like to use lots of pictures coz, a pictures has a million words. :)

My Dream Holiday! to Where?

Hey2 You You! i'm back! just now morning i search for my dream holiday in my virtual life but i couldnt find. Now i manage to find it n now i wanna up date bout it. b4 we go into a virtual dream holiday. I show u a real life dream holiday!
My Dream Holiday is LONDON! weeeeeeee

I always wanted to go to a place where there is snow because i couldnt get it in Singapore, the country i live in. :) I always wanted to play with the snow n make small balls, wanted to play snow fight, where people trow small balls of snow to other people. I always wanted to make SNOWMAN too.. :)

Before I do all the above things. The 1st time i see snow, I will do this like the picture below. I will lay down on the white snow, and spread my legs n hands to make the angel shape! hehehe :) 

After all the enjoyment of snow. I will like to go to LONDON BRIDGE! because when i was small, in kindergarten, there is a nursery Rhyme called : London Bridge is falling down. I would like to see the real London bridge. :) I heard that the bridge able to open n close for ships to go across.

Since Singapore build a SINGAPORE FLYER and after i took the Singapore Flyer. I would like to have a ride in LONDON EYE too. To know whats the difference between LONDON or SINGAPORE ferries wheels. I saw a picture tat show a couple marries in one of the LONDON EYE cabin. If i couldn't achieve my dream to London. Maybe i will do this in Singapore. hahahhaa.. ;D

If in London you be able to see this on the Road! It's famous in LONDON! In Singapore we b able to see London taxi but not as many as in London. :) The London bus i saw it once but it's not in London but at Genting Highlands theme park. hehe

Last but not least. THE BIG BEN! and the houses of parliaments. This is the clock, is the heartbeat of the London. :) I would like to climb up the stairs reach the top to see the BIG BEN! : D

Now is my virtual life dream holiday to London! What i can see in the virtual life at London.

This is what i see in 2nd life, there are pictures i print screen to show u around in virtual life at London. It's not as interesting as the real life because I always dream to go London in real life not in virtual life. In 2ndLife London is not the same as the real life coz they cant build buildings exactly the same as realLife.I only can see some of the London's landmark  in 2ndLife.

I like the place where there is a lot of balloons, so colorful.

Citizen Journalism

What is Citizen Journalism?

It is a website for you to contribute an everyday life activities around the places you when or heard b4. You can post information for interesting topic of the places u have been or u can spread news that some people don't yet.

I like to go to this type of website (http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg) because it is entertaining. Sometime the news/info they give it's interesting, sometime it's nonsense.

This picture below, it's a total nonsense. This is not an information or a news but it is a self opinion. e.g. You dislike the person huging kissing or wateva. You can just look away n ignore them. But this stomper dislike their behavior & took a picture an post to stomp. To me the stomper do this coz, he/she has so much free time. This is to pass their time by posting rubbish in stomp. hehe :)

This picture below, it is an interesting & entertaining information/news. I never see this type of objects before, it's an creative way to fix things. the topic name is interesting n makes people participate in this topic by answering; resourceful or desperate. To me its creative, not resourceful coz u cant really use it properly. So wats ur point of view by reading the title and the pictures?  

Searching the invisible Web – TP’s Database

Hello i'm back to update my last post as promise. hehe ^_^
Today I visit the invisible database from TP to do some research on my topic(Endangered animals). As usual I type my topic into the search box, but this time the results are not the same as others(Search engine, meta search, subject directory). It gives totally irrelevant topic to my search topic e.g. Understanding Surveillance Technologies: Spy Devices, Privacy, History, & Applications, Revised and Expanded Second Edition, XML for the World Wide Web: Visual QuickStart Guide. There is nothing about endangered animal.

This invisible web database TP can only be access, if you are connected to TP internet connection. This database focus on books only. I don't know what it means by Invisible web. maybe the name 'Invisible' is other people cannot access this books unless u use this database to search for it.
I was clueless that i use Google search engine to find what is invisible web; it refers to World Wide Web content that is not part of the Surface Web, which is indexed by standard search engines.


To me this invisible web is not good for doing research because it is lack of results. It has less range of categories/Subject). 

Using school database search

Hello bloggers, It's been so long i didnt update my blog. i miss typing n sharing my information about my research for EIR.

Now i wanna share u peeps about Database search. I'm using school database since i can go in for free. hehe.. There are many types of database you can use in school. These database is to search for artical, books, Essay and many more.

Searching in database is kinda fun coz its my first time using database to do some research. The interface of the database is easy to understand n use.

Using database search is the same as using search engine, it search for informations. Using database is more reliable coz admin will chk be for it put inside the database. SO all the information tat is shown in database is all worth to read. Database has very little a amount of results but all is relevant and reliable. :) But the information are too short. It only describe a portion about the topic. It only describe about an animal rather than many type of animals that are endangered.

More interesting part is the advance search.

 The advance search is very unique. It's not the same as Search engine, meta search, subject directory.
This has so many good advance search, e.g. it can search by; publication type, document type, language type, number of pages, date of publish.

Tmr i gonna update about Searching the Invisible Web -TP’s Databases : ITPRO  since my laoptop at home cant access the website. :)
